How to Apply

Unfortunately, the grant process has been closed for the 2019-2020 year, however here is information from this year’s grant process that you may find helpful if you plan to apply next year!

Women to Women of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro is pleased to announce its grantmaking program for 2019-2020.  Women to Women will accept Letters of Intent (LOIs) from local nonprofit organizations serving women and their families in Greensboro, North Carolina.

2019’s  Women to Women Grant Proposal Guidelines

Letters Of Intent (LOIs) may propose projects to address economic independence for women and their families, including projects that:

  • support women working to achieve self-sufficiency in all areas of their lives,

  • provide operating support to organizations working to create systemic change for women,

  • assist women in building their capacity to increase income, preparedness for the workplace, and provide stability for their families, and/or,

  • promote awareness of issues affecting women and their families as it relates to economic independence.

Organizations may also request “planning grants” or grants to support implementation of innovative programs that address women’s issues in the community, and/or inform the selection of future grantmaking topics.

Grants will be considered for ALL amounts up to $70,000, for a period of up to one year.  Collaboration and alignment of services are important, and priority will be given to organizations that are working in this manner.
