Independent Business Owners Network is a networking group focusing on issues important to businesswomen in the Triad. The program helps connect members with resources and provides educational courses in things like branding and social media.

Phenomenal Women in Stem
Phenomenal Women in S.T.E.M. is a training program that works to prepare women and girls in Guilford County with the adequate skill set in the STEM, robotics and information technology fields. The goal is to decrease educational inequity among women and develop a more diverse, qualified and competitive workforce for the 4 million STEM & IT jobs available in the U.S.
Housing Consultant Group
Voice of Women Program
The Housing Consultant Group provides women training and education in preparation for homeownership. The group works to improve the financial knowledge in households at 50% or less of the area median income, changing spending behaviors to promote successful and sustainable homeownership.
UNITED WAY OF GREATER GREENSBORO
Family Success Center
United Way’s Family Success Center was chosen for a multi-year grant of $210,000. 2019 marks the third of the three $70,000 awards.
The Family Success Center works to reduce poverty in Greensboro neighborhoods. The program uses an integrated service-delivery approach to bring together collaborative partnerships and anti-poverty support for mothers and children. Services focus on employment, education, financial capability, health, and basic needs, with a goal to position families on pathways out of generational poverty by improving financial stability over three to five years.

Adopt-A-Mom Program
The goal of the Guilford County Coalition on Infant Mortality’s Adopt-A-Mom Program is to ensure access to prenatal care and case management for women who “fall through the cracks”

The New Arrivals Institute’s Women’s Empowerment and Vocational Education program works to help refugee and immigrant women achieve economic self-sufficiency through workforce development.
