United Way’s Family Success Center was chosen for a multi-year grant of $210,000. 2019 marks the third of the three $70,000 awards.
The Family Success Center works to reduce poverty in Greensboro neighborhoods. The program uses an integrated service-delivery approach to bring together collaborative partnerships and anti-poverty support for mothers and children. Services focus on employment, education, financial capability, health, and basic needs, with a goal to position families on pathways out of generational poverty by improving financial stability over three to five years.
