Critical Home Repairs for Women and Children in Need
The Community Housing Solutions Home Repair Program preserves homeownership for low-income families, who are not physically or financially able to repair their homes on their own. In 2022, CHS provided critical repairs to 128 homes. 76.5% were owned by women whose income was below 80% of the area median income for Guilford County. The funding from W2W will help provide critical home repairs to these female head of households enabling them to stay in their homes that will be made warmer, drier, and safer.
