We’re bringing a truly unforgettable moment to the gala: live art created in real time as part of the program.
Local artist Alisha Wielfaert will paint an original piece during the event, accompanied by live music. Guests will watch the artwork come to life right in front of them, adding energy, emotion, and storytelling to the room.
As the piece nears completion, we’ll open it up for bidding as a live auction item, creating a powerful, immersive experience that blends art, music, and fundraising momentum.
It’s intimate, inspiring, and one-of-a-kind — a centerpiece moment that elevates the entire evening and gives guests the chance to take home a piece of the gala itself.

Why We Give
Each day, tens of thousands of women right here in our own community struggle to put food on the table, to keep themselves and their children safe and healthy, and to rise out of poverty towards futures of opportunity.
Women to Women changes the lives of women and their children by funding programs that offer demonstrated results. We identify the point of intervention that truly changes these women’s futures. Our proven grant allocation process supports a broad platform of programs that may not be on the radar for most donors. The outcomes are real and meaningful in the lives of Guilford County families, the community we all call home.
